Lure. Trap. Exploit. Extract. Discard. Forget. Repeat.

This is the system that regular people across the world - between 8 and 12 billion of us according to some new estimates - are defending with absolute loyalty.

Lure. Trap. Exploit. Extract. Discard. Forget. Repeat.

This is the engine of a corrupt society - be that a capitalist society or a socialist one.

The latest US rhetoric is aggressively pushing the idea that the Democrats are Communists and that they are out to destroy the American way of life.

This way of life: Lure. Trap. Exploit. Extract. Discard. Forget. Repeat.

An overwhelming threat is invented in order to ideologically mobilize the spirit of the nation. Textbook strategy.

Here are two important truths we must all acknowledge if we don't want to become mindless apes in service of a bunch of elite lunatics:

Truth No. 1:

Being a liberal and a progressive, does not mean being a Communist.

I come from an ex-communist country. Look that up.

Truth No. 2:

Every socio-economic and political system can and will be corrupted by corrupt individuals and groups of individuals.

Every time.

The current anti-Communist rhetoric points all the fingers at the corrupt and evil nature of a corrupt system; a system that allegedly is invading the United States of America with the intent to destroy it, and as such - it must be destroyed in turn. It does that because it cannot - out of self preservation - point at the corruption itself, and the corrupt individuals.

"Mirror, mirror, who is the most corrupt of it all?" would simply not sound good or look good, wouldn't it?

The show MUST go on:

Lure. Trap. Exploit. Extract. Discard. Forget. Repeat.

We are being called to defend an utterly corrupt system against another corrupt system. We are being called to fight for the lesser evil. We are being called to morally blind ourselves in order to serve a real but lesser evil against a greater, imaginary one growing amongst us.

Lure. Trap. Exploit. Extract. Discard. Forget. Repeat.

Observe the world around you, find this pattern, this power mechanism, and then ask yourself: is this it?

Is this all there is to life? An ideological path? An exploitation path? A morally abject path?

Were you born to fit within the simplest and most life destructive algorithm of all?

Lure. Trap. Exploit. Extract. Discard. Forget. Repeat.

I don't think so. I cannot believe so. I will never accept it so.

Maybe I'm broken. A piece of a system that malfunctioned and never really fit in. I actually failed even when trying to fit in. So I wondered why.

What part of my programming did not "stick". What exactly in my early or later education failed to integrate me into the system.

Make no mistake about it though, the system did its job. Regardless of my errors and malfunctioning, I eventually was Lured. Trapped. Exploited.

I am not yet Discarded. Forgotten - maybe, by some.

Repeat?

Yes. My kids are primed to be assimilated, whether they like it or not, agree or not, accept or not.

This is the power of a system:

To give, take, and discard.

To some, a system may appear to mimic nature itself. After all, everyone is born, lives, dies, and then they are forgotten. This is the natural course of life. The system, capitalist, communist, or otherwise, claims to simply match nature's course and even enhance human life.

So here is the kicker:

For this "enhancement" provided by the system - a system in which we perfectly or imperfectly fit in - we are expected to precisely obey the Lure, Trap, Exploit, Extract, Discard, and Forget paradigm while demonstrating complete loyalty and gratitude.

In the end, just like Life itself, the system discards and forgets.

Then, it repeats. Again, and again, with every new human being entering the majestic and ephemeral realm of Life.

So, I ask again; is THIS it?

If you don't think so, if you cannot believe so, if you cannot accept it to be so, then join me in what may seem like an epic effort of imagination, but in essence it simply is Life's natural response to the absurdity of corrupt systems pretending to be life itself.

This is what Project Forward is. A call to imagination, not one of choosing between two evils. A call to imagine a way beyond our past. A better way. A humane way. An incorruptible way - because it exists.

We cannot create a new future by cloning the past.
